Mattamy Homes Donates $100,000 to Right Wing Facebook Group Ontario Proud

During the Ontario Provincial election the Facebook Group, Ontario Proud, a left-wing conservative group raised over $500,000 in donations.

About 10% of this amount was raised from private individuals but corporations we're the largest contributor. Mattamy Homes a Toronto-based residential builder which is also present in Ottawa also figures on the list of donors backing this conservative Facebook group taking aim at the Liberal Party. Mattamy Homes stands out from the list with a $100,000 donation.

Ontario Proud and other political social media organizations can sometimes have a large following and generally fly under the radar. 

The Facebook group spent approximately $155,000 on Facebook and $154,000 on Youtube ads promoting the site and their movement often showcasing what is in their mind, mistakes made by the Liberals and some of the Liberals flawed agenda all while promoting Doug Ford's conservative agenda.
