234 & 240 Montreal Road Mix Used Development in Vanier

Regional Group, an Ottawa based developer has bought the properties located along Montreal Road in Ottawa's Vanier neighbourhood located just East of Downtown Ottawa.

Regional Group is banking on the revitalization of the neighbourhood of Vanier in the coming years which in their opinion will make Vanier an attractive area to live and work.

In November we have seen some movement on the demolition of the two current buildings found at 234 and 240 Montreal Rd. Regional Group now owns many buildings and land neighbouring these two properties including office towers on Dupuis Street.

The neighbourhood of Vanier is seeing lots of gentrification from Beechwood Avenue to all the way to Montreal Road. These projects include residential infill projects on many streets of Vanier as well as large condo development projects in Vanier's Beechwood Village.

With the arrival of the LRT to Ottawa Vanier has received new bike lanes and bus lanes including an express route to a nearby Ottawa LRT station and other areas of Downtown.
