Should I be paying electricity based on Time-of-use or a Tiered Plan?

As of November 1st, 2020 Ottawa Hydro customers will be able to choose between two electricity plans for their residential property. Since June 1st we've been paying a flat 2.8 cents per kWh for the electricity that we use. This is different than the Time-of-use plan we were all very familiar with.

2017 Average Price Forecast Report

Where are average home prices heading? A recent forecast report published in March from the Canadian Real Estate Association is shedding some light into the average residential price across Canada. 

The 2016 National Average for residential sales was $490,033 which translates into a 10.8% increase over 2015.
